1. The Frost Of A Thousand Winters
(Music and lyrics by D˛mhnall Alasdair)

Through the frost of a thousand winters I walk hand in hand with the cold
It tells me all about my existence and what it means to have ice in my soul
Among the frozen valleys we wander together until death do us part
And every day I try to understand why there is ice in my heart

The darkness of a thousand nights is my most truly faithful friend
It guides me through the forests of life and will stay beside me until the end
It shields my eyes from the blinding light that fills the world outside my door
And every night it opens my mind and teaches me everything that I know

The snow falls thick upon the ground
And blackness closes all around
But written in the ice and in the night
Is the key to the mysteries of life
Of life ...

And when autumn breaks again
When the day is coming to its end
I ask of the ice and of the night
"What wisdom is awaiting me this time?"
This time ...

2. They Will Never Be Forgotten
(Music and lyrics by D˛mhnall Alasdair)

The waves crash down upon the shore
And the rain blows in from the ocean
And all those who've stood here before
They will never be forgotten

The heather grows proud upon the moor
And the streams carry home their crystal waters
And all those who've stood here before
They will never be forgotten

And far beyond the clouds
Far beyond the sky
Perhaps in paradise they lie
And far beyond the moon
Far beyond the stars
Perhaps they're watching from afar

Or in the air we breathe
And the grass upon the ground
Perhaps their souls are all around
In the rivers and the moors
The machair and the sand
Perhaps they're wandering this land
